Welcome to Pinflix. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Pinflix mobile application and website at pinflix.xyz (the "Service"), operated by Pinflix ("we," "our," or "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Pinflix is a content curation platform that allows you to save references (links and embeds) to content from third-party platforms such as YouTube, Twitter/X, TikTok, Instagram, and Reddit. You can organise saved content into collections called "curations" and optionally share them with others.

Pinflix does not host, download, or redistribute the actual media files. We store links and metadata that point to content on its original platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA) to use the Service. By using Pinflix, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Your Content

Pins & Curations. The links and metadata you save through the Service are "Your Content." You retain ownership of any original material you create (such as curation titles, descriptions, and tags). By sharing a curation publicly, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to display that curation and its contents via the Service (including share pages and previews).

You are responsible for ensuring that you are not infringing any third-party rights when you save or share content. Do not use the Service to collect or distribute content that you know to be infringing, illegal, or harmful.

5. Third-Party Content

Content you pin through Pinflix is created and hosted by third-party platforms and their users. We do not endorse, verify, or take responsibility for third-party content. The availability of pinned content depends on the original platform — if content is removed from its source, it will no longer be accessible through Pinflix.

Your use of third-party platform content is subject to those platforms' own terms of service. We encourage you to review them.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
  • Distribute malware, spam, or phishing content
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten others
  • Collect or distribute content depicting the exploitation of minors
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems
  • Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our written consent
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service beyond normal use

7. Intellectual Property

The Pinflix name, logo, branding, and the design and code of the Service are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

8. Copyright & DMCA

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content accessible through the Service infringes your copyright, please contact us at hello@solvedbycode.xyz with:

  • A description of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed
  • The URL or location of the infringing material on the Service
  • Your contact information
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner

We will respond to valid requests and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the reported content.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pinflix and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pinflix and its founders, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnification) will survive.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pinflix operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
